Duracell was one of our first campaigns we were challenged with. We were briefed to create brand relevance for Duracell during the Easter season to create brand awareness. At the time Duracell hadn’t done anything attention grabbing for a while in the communications space, so we thought it fitting to go ahead and do something astounding.
A world record breaking stunt resulting in the world’s largest solid chocolate bunny ever created. The bunny was stored in a fridge powered by Duracell, showcasing its staying power. The bunny was revealed and once celebrities were done having fun breaking the chocolate sculpture apart, it was donated to charities allowing the children to enjoy an Easter treat. The result was over R23 Million in PR value, with an ROI of 368:1.
