Capacity Relations objective was to amplify the All Gold Tomato Sauce Campaign for Breaking a record for the longest boerewors ever sauced at the same time. The main event was held on Heritage Day where Capacity Relations hosted media and influencers to witness the enormous boerewors being cooked and get a chance to taste it.
Capacity Relations partnered with Gareth Cliff, HHP, Pierre Spies and Unathi Msengana to create pre-event buzz about the enormous feat. The cleverly orchestrated influencer conversation, along with PR resulted in raised awareness and an in incredible consumer attendance to witness the breaking of the record. All Gold managed to break the record and Capacity Relations received R 12 616 454.00 worth of coverage With an ROI of 105:01. The influencer conversation generated an additional AVE – R3 034 836 with an OTS – 13 499 382. The left over ‘woers was given to underprivileged schools and orphanages in Alexandra and Soweto.
